We are currently working with two leading organisations who are searching for the next Finance Director within their business.
About the Role
Leading the finance team this role will be critical in not only delivering the day to day reporting of numbers but also partnering the board to ensure that the financial strategy supports the overall vision of the company.
- Lead all aspects of financial management including governance, forecasting, budgeting, investment appraisal, performance tracking and reporting, driving margin management and profitability through best-in-class financial discipline and insight
- Ensure the business has industry-leading management information systems, enabling rapid, high-quality decision making
- Champion data-driven performance management, automation and simplification of reporting processes
- Develop, lead and inspire a high-performing finance and RGM team
- Promote a dynamic & energised culture of commercial curiosity, continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration
- Role model collaboration both within the business unit and across the wider business financial teams to drive best practice and positive relationships
- Develop proactive & positive relationships with our strategic partner & suppliers

Requirements
- Proven track record as a Finance Director or senior finance leader ideally within food manufacturing but must have worked within FMCG
- Deep expertise in financial governance, planning & analysis, cost control, budgeting and decision support
- Commercially sharp, strategically minded and comfortable influencing across all levels, including with customers and group stakeholders
- Experienced people leader focussed on developing and driving a high performing team
- Collaborative team player who works well with peers and key stakeholders
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA
