With an established advisory platform and ambitious growth plans, the business offers an opportunity for an experienced transaction services professional to join a high-performing team and play a key role in the continued development of its Financial Due Diligence offering.
The Role
As a Financial Due Diligence Senior Manager / Director, you will play a senior role within the Deal Advisory team, leading Financial Due Diligence engagements for a diverse range of clients and transactions.
You will work closely with corporate and private equity clients, management teams, investors, and other professional advisers, providing high-quality financial analysis and commercial insight to support key transaction decisions.
The role will involve taking ownership of FDD assignments from planning through to completion, managing project teams, overseeing the quality of deliverables, and acting as a senior point of contact for clients.

Alongside delivery, you will have the opportunity to contribute to business development, build relationships with existing and prospective clients, and support the continued growth of the firm's Transaction Services offering.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FDD professional looking to take a senior position within a growing advisory practice, with genuine scope to influence the development of the team and service line.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Due Diligence assignments across a range of sectors and transaction types
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of FDD engagements, from initial planning through to completion
- Analyse historical and projected financial performance, including revenue, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and net debt
- Identify key financial risks, opportunities, and commercial considerations arising from the analysis
- Prepare and review high-quality FDD reports and transaction materials for clients and investors
- Lead and develop project teams, providing coaching, technical guidance, and oversight
- Manage relationships with clients, management teams, private equity investors, corporate acquirers, and other advisers
- Work closely with Corporate Finance, Tax, Legal, and other professional advisers throughout transaction processes
- Present findings and key conclusions clearly to senior client stakeholders and investment teams
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively
- Support the identification and development of new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Contribute to the continued development of the firm's Financial Due Diligence proposition and wider Deal Advisory offering
- Mentor and develop more junior members of the team, supporting their technical and professional development

About You
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Services experience gained within a Big 4 or strong mid-tier accountancy or advisory firm
- Experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level, or ready to make that step
- Strong technical understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and transaction-related financial analysis
- Proven experience leading FDD assignments and managing teams
- Strong understanding of transaction processes and the requirements of private equity and corporate investors
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to identify and communicate key findings and risks
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present findings to senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development and building a strong network
- A collaborative and supportive leadership style with a genuine interest in developing others
