Sherwood Community Centre Volunteer Opportunity
Sherwood Community Centre is seeking a committed volunteer to help provide financial oversight and liaise with our independent book keeper. The role will work closely with our treasurer helping to set budgets and providing support to her ensuring financial due diligence.

What are we looking for?
You should have at least 3 years of working in financial management, book keeping or accountancy type role. You must be comfortable working with budgets and financial reports and able to help the board understand the financial implications of our decisions as well as helping the trustees with financial updates.

Our community centre is run by a small, committed group of local people who care.
- We bring a mix of community knowledge, professional experience and lived insight, and we work closely with our staff team to support a busy programme of activities, room hires and community events.

We’re looking for a volunteer who can support our treasurer and help the board make well-informed decisions. You’ll work closely with the fundraising volunteer on budgets and reporting.
You don’t need to be an accountant, but you should have at least 3 years of working in financial management, book keeping or accountancy type role. You must be comfortable working with budgets and financial reports.
