Role Description
The Financial Expert Witness Report Writer is a full-time remote role responsible for producing clear, accurate, and defensible financial reports for use in legal and regulatory contexts. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Analyzing financial data
- Reviewing documentation and case files
- Preparing structured expert witness reports that explain complex financial concepts in plain language
The role involves collaborating with advisers, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to gather information, validate assumptions, and ensure reports meet evidentiary standards. The Report Writer will:
- Maintain and update relevant data sources
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and compliance requirements
- Manage multiple assignments within agreed timelines
Continuous learning about financial products, regulations, and best practices is expected to support high-quality, independent advice.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Report Writing and Writing skills for producing clear, well-structured expert witness reports.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting evidence-based conclusions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for explaining complex financial issues to non-specialist audiences and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Databases and financial information systems to source, organize, and verify data.

Relevant qualifications such as a degree in finance, economics, law, or a related field, or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, ACCA) are beneficial.
Prior experience in financial advisory, forensic accounting, compliance, or expert witness work is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail, ethical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.
