Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Financial Lawyer at QUNTUM LLC. The Financial Lawyer will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of financial documents, including loan agreements, investment contracts, and corporate finance transactions. Responsibilities include:

- Advising clients on regulatory compliance, securities laws, and risk management
- Conducting legal research on relevant financial regulations and case law
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing clear written opinions and memoranda
- Supporting due diligence for transactions and investments
- Helping develop and refine internal policies, templates, and best practices to ensure consistent, compliant documentation and processes

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial law, including corporate finance, banking, securities, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and transaction documents.
- Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and writing, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent, and active license to practice law in at least one relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience working with financial institutions, investment firms, or corporate finance transactions is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with international financial regulations or cross-border transactions is a plus.
