Financial Management Accountant
£55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits + Hybrid Working
Are you a hands-on finance professional who enjoys getting into the detail while helping drive process improvements and stronger financial controls?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, international business operating across multiple markets. This role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, month-end reporting, balance sheet management, and finance transformation projects within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate month-end reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting the integration of an overseas finance function into the UK operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant who enjoys ownership, process improvement, and working closely with stakeholders across the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support month-end close activities
- Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Support management reporting and monthly analysis
- Work closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
- Assist with audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiencies
- Support finance integration and change initiatives across the business

About You
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Strong month-end accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Solid understanding of journals, accruals, prepayments, and double-entry accounting
- Experience managing intercompany accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling large data sets
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Experience using Sage 200 (or a similar Sage finance system) would be highly advantageous
- Interest in leveraging AI and technology to improve finance processes and reporting
