Company Background

At Woodhurst, we believe everyone should have access to better financial solutions. Formed in 2019, we are on a mission to help financial institutions to deliver on their strategy by partnering on digital modernisation efforts across the sector. Our story began when the founders spotted gaps in the market, particularly amongst Building Societies where members were struggling to reap the benefits of digitisation. With the incentive to offer high-quality digital transformation consulting to sectors that had been traditionally underserved by the larger consultancies, Woodhurst was born.

Due to the organic growth of the business we are now increasing our consulting team, based in York, and are interested in speaking to experienced consultants at Consultant, Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant grade.

Job Overview

  • Working as part of a project team to help clients solve complex problems across a variety of financial sectors.
  • Providing end-to-end consulting support, including data analysis, research, developing presentations, and client workshops.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and building robust, collaborative relationships.
  • Applying structured thinking and problem-solving techniques to address complex challenges.
  • Supporting project delivery to ensure projects are completed to high quality standards, on time and within budget.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
