About The Client
Our client is a fast-growing fintech company focused on card acquiring. It helps businesses accept card payments from customers across different markets and provides the infrastructure behind the payment flow.
Role Overview
Take on a hands-on finance role with room to shape how reporting and planning work. You will improve financial visibility, automate processes and help a growing business make informed decisions. The scope of the role will expand as you take ownership of more of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial data, reports and business performance metrics.
- Build and improve financial reporting, dashboards and analytical tools.
- Automate finance processes and reporting using SQL, Python, BI or other relevant tools.
- Support financial planning, forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
- Work across teams on finance projects and process improvements.
- Own finance tasks and processes, gradually expanding your responsibilities.
- Help build and develop the finance function as the company grows.

Requirements
- Previous experience at a Big-4 or comparable audit firm.
- Current or recent experience in payments, electronic money, acquiring or related financial services.
- Hands-on experience with financial data and analytics using SQL, Python, BI or similar tools.
- Experience automating financial reporting or improving finance processes.
- A plus: experience with safeguarding, regulatory reporting, settlement and reconciliation, or interchange.
- A plus: ACA, ACCA or CFA qualification.
- A plus: experience building finance processes or functions from scratch.
- Languages: English, Russian.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Cyprus or the UK.
- Experience in fintech.
