Job Summary

Are you passionate about technology and eager to build a career at the intersection of IT and global financial markets? We are looking for an ambitious and technically curious FMIS Technical Analyst to join our Financial Markets Infrastructure Services (FMIS) team.

As an FMIS Technical Analyst, you will learn and develop expertise in supporting the technology ecosystem used by Financial Markets professionals. Working alongside experienced engineers and business stakeholders, you will provide technical support across desktop environments, market data platforms, trading systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and business continuity solutions.

You will play a key role in maintaining a secure, resilient, and high-performing trading floor environment while gaining valuable exposure to financial products, market operations, and enterprise technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Operations

  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support across Financial Markets technology platforms.
  • Support trading floor users with desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, email, and collaboration tools.
  • Support trader voice and telecommunications systems, including handsets, headsets, turrets, and voice recording solutions.
  • Assist with user administration, profile management, and access provisioning.

Trading & Market Data Systems

  • Support market data platforms such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
  • Develop knowledge of trading applications and financial market technologies.
  • Help maintain availability and performance of critical business systems used by trading and dealing teams.
  • Assist with transaction systems and associated infrastructure.

Service Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and high-severity incident management.
  • Monitor service quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with technology standards, operational procedures, and support processes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Previous IT support experience (Helpdesk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or Infrastructure Support) is advantageous.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, or trading environments is beneficial but not required
  • Exposure to project delivery or technology operations is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user administration.
  • Basic understanding of networking, telecommunications, desktop computing, and client-server technologies.
  • Interest in financial markets technology and trading environments.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices and end-user hardware is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, trading systems, or voice platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.
