Financial Markets Sales Associate

A leading international financial institution is seeking a Financial Markets Sales Associate to join its London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to global capital markets while working with corporate and institutional clients across a broad range of investment, funding and risk management solutions.

Working within a collaborative front-office environment, you will support relationship management activities, contribute to business development initiatives, and gain hands-on exposure to products spanning foreign exchange, fixed income, money markets and interest rate solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and developing relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
  • Supporting senior sales professionals in delivering funding, investment and hedging solutions.
  • Monitoring market developments and sharing relevant insights with clients.
  • Assisting with client meetings, presentations and business development activities.
  • Working closely with Trading, Treasury and other specialist teams to help deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Contributing to commercial growth initiatives and helping to identify new business opportunities.
  • Developing a strong understanding of financial markets, risk management and capital markets products.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years' + experience within banking, financial services, treasury, financial markets, corporate banking or a client-facing commercial role.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets and global economic developments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and general Microsoft Office skills.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
