Financial Modeler (FP&A) – Part-Time
We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeler / FP&A professional to join the business on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.
Initially offered as a contract position, there is the potential for the role to convert into a permanent position for the right individual.
The successful candidate will have strong financial modelling and FP&A experience, with particular expertise in stock and inventory modelling, as well as FX / foreign currency modelling. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can build, enhance and maintain robust financial models while providing meaningful commercial insight to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and enhance sophisticated financial models to support business planning, forecasting and decision-making.
- Develop detailed stock and inventory models, including inventory movements, purchasing, demand, working capital and cash flow implications.
- Model FX and foreign currency exposure, including the impact of exchange rate movements on revenue, costs, margins and profitability.
- Support the production of budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans.
- Develop scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the potential impact of key business and market assumptions.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Finance and wider business stakeholders to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insights.
- Support cash flow, working capital and profitability analysis.
- Improve and streamline existing financial models, reporting processes and forecasting methodologies.
- Present modelling outputs and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and commercially focused manner.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling support as required.

About You
- Proven experience in Financial Modelling and FP&A.
- Strong experience modelling stock / inventory and working capital.
- Demonstrable experience with FX / foreign currency modelling and understanding of the impact of currency movements on financial performance.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build complex, flexible and user-friendly models.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and financial analysis.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large and complex datasets.
- Able to communicate complex financial information clearly to both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
