About Us

Psychiatry UK is the UK’s leading provider of digital psychiatry services, working both privately and with the NHS to support children, teenagers and adults with expert, patient-centred care.

A career with Psychiatry UK allows you to expand your knowledge, enhance your skills, and gain valuable life experience—all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote full-time role. As part of a leading online mental health service, you'll collaborate with innovative, forward-thinking professionals in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to making a real difference.

The Role

The Financial Modeller & Planner will play a central role within the NHS Contract Management team, supporting the planning, negotiation and performance management of annual budgets and new contracts with NHS commissioners, NHS Trusts and system partners.

The role reports jointly to the NHS Contract Management Lead and the CFO team, contributing to financial planning across Psychiatry UK and providing the insight needed to support sound commercial and operational decisions.

The successful candidate will bring advanced financial-modelling expertise, strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn complex, unstructured data into clear, actionable insights. The role also requires effective partnership working across Finance, Operations, Product and Contracts.

This is a home-based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face-to-face meetings at various locations within the UK.

  • Translate unstructured inputs and complex, multivariable scenarios into commercial models that inform critical business decisions.
  • Interrogate data sources, validate their accuracy and constructively challenge assumptions to maintain the integrity of financial models.
  • Partner with Data and Analytics teams to improve data quality, structures and modelling processes.
  • Produce scenario models, sensitivity analyses and risk assessments to inform financial and contracting strategies.
  • Lead the financial analysis of new partnerships, service redesigns and growth initiatives.
  • Support financial planning across Psychiatry UK in close partnership with the CFO team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
