An opportunity with an established European corporate finance and M&A advisory platform, supporting a range of transaction and due diligence processes across its international client base.
This is not a traditional dealmaking, origination or relationship-management role. The position focuses primarily on the analytical and financial aspects of transactions, working closely with senior professionals across live mandates.
The Role
The successful candidate will take a hands-on role across transaction analysis, valuation and financial due diligence, with particular emphasis on financial modelling, valuation and the assessment of businesses and investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:


Get help with your application

- Building and reviewing fully integrated three-statement financial models
- Conducting DCF valuations and broader valuation analysis
- Building and analysing LBO models and returns scenarios
- Analysing historical financial performance and developing detailed forecasts
- Supporting financial due diligence processes, including analysis of EBITDA, working capital, net debt and cash flow
- Assessing business plans, financial assumptions and key value drivers
- Performing sensitivity and scenario analysis
- Identifying financial issues and risks arising during transaction and DD processes
- Preparing high-quality analytical materials and outputs for senior team members
- Taking ownership of analytical workstreams across multiple live transaction processes and different sectors and geographies
