The Role

The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records at an individual customer level. You will focus on detailed reconciliation work, reviewing customer balances, and identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain clean and reliable accounting records. This position plays a key role in supporting the wider finance function by ensuring that all customer-related transactions are correctly recorded and allocated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Review debtor balances and investigate outstanding items or inconsistencies
  • Monitor and review suspense accounts, ensuring all payments are correctly identified and allocated in a timely manner
  • Ensure all accounting entries at customer level are accurate and comply with internal policies and accounting standards
  • Supply month-end processes related to customer accounts, including reporting and balance validation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reconciliation processes and controls
