Description
We are seeking a driven Financial Operations Project Manager on a 12-Month FTC to lead transformative initiatives across our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and transactional finance functions. You will bridge project management expertise with deep financial operations knowledge to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and can inspire teams to adopt new processes and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end project delivery for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable improvements, defining scope, timelines, resources, and success metrics.
- Identify and document process inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities within financial operations workflows.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, and external stakeholders to align priorities and ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement training, communication, and change management strategies to support adoption of new processes and systems.
- Design and deliver enhanced management reporting and KPIs to provide visibility into performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure all process enhancements maintain robust financial controls, compliance, and governance standards.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Build strong relationships across the business to foster a culture of continuous operational improvement.
- Monitor and report on project outcomes, quantifying impact on efficiency, cost savings, and strategic objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven expertise in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes within a high-volume, fast-paced finance environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and Epicor ERP is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in leading end-to-end process improvement and automation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented mindset with confident decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and change management capabilities to drive adoption of new ways of working.
- Self-motivated with a track record of delivering complex projects within tight deadlines.
