Financial Planner

North West | Up to £80,000 + Benefits | £45m Client Bank to Inherit | High Net Worth Clients

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planner to join a well-established financial planning business in the North West and take responsibility for an established £45m client bank, consisting of profitable, high net worth households.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who enjoys building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and wants the opportunity to inherit a quality portfolio while continuing to develop new business and grow assets under management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for an established £45m client portfolio
  • Build and develop trusted, long-term relationships with high net worth clients
  • Conduct regular client reviews and ensure advice reflects clients' changing circumstances and objectives
  • Deliver a holistic financial planning experience
  • Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities to increase assets and ongoing fees
  • Generate new clients through referrals, professional connections, networking, and existing relationships
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Develop and execute an individual business plan focused on client acquisition, revenue, and AuM growth
  • Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance, client service, and professional conduct
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and share best practice

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Financial Planner with a strong track record of building and developing client relationships.

You will ideally have:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
  • Chartered status, or be working towards Chartered status
  • Experience delivering holistic financial planning
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Experience working with high net worth clients
  • A strong network and proven ability to generate new business
  • Commercial awareness and a strong new business mindset
  • Excellent organizational and administration skills
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and client outcomes
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
