A bit about Chilvester and the role
We’re an established, independent firm based in Chippenham.
For many years we’ve helped clients navigate retirement, investing, tax planning, protection and intergenerational wealth planning. We’ve grown steadily since 1999 by doing good work, building strong relationships and looking after our clients properly.
Today we’re entering an exciting new chapter.
You’ll take immediate responsibility for an established portfolio of clients and help us continue delivering the personal service and high quality advice that Chilvester is known for.

Your job is to inherit those relationships, deliver comprehensive financial planning and cashflow modelling, and help us look after the new clients who arrive through our existing referral network.

You’ll be backed by:
- Experienced paraplanners and dedicated client service administrators who handle the technical and administrative work.

What we’re looking for
Qualifications matter, but how you treat people matters more. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum (with full support if you're working toward Chartered).
- Experienced in providing comprehensive financial planning, comfortable running meetings independently, and capable of translating complex financial situations into plain English.
- Collaborative, happy working alongside paraplanners and support colleagues as a team.
Most importantly, we're looking for somebody who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in giving good advice.

The practical details
If we expect you to look after our clients, we make sure we look after you:
- Starting salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus annual performance bonus.
- We believe in rewarding long-term contribution, excellent client outcomes and living our values. Total earnings can progress to £70,000 - £90,000 as you grow within the role.
- Early Friday finish at 2:00 PM.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
- Office closure between Christmas and New Year (downtime without eating your holiday allowance).
- Option to buy or sell additional holiday.
