Role Description
The Financial Planner will provide holistic financial planning advice to individual clients, helping them structure and manage their finances in line with their goals and life stages. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Conducting detailed client fact-finds
- Assessing financial needs
- Preparing tailored financial plans that may cover investments, tax-efficient strategies, retirement planning, and estate considerations
The role involves:
- Explaining complex financial concepts clearly
- Reviewing and adjusting plans over time
- Collaborating with investment managers and other colleagues to ensure alignment between financial planning recommendations and portfolio management
The Financial Planner will maintain high standards of regulatory compliance, documentation, and record-keeping while upholding the firm’s values in every client interaction. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Sheffield Area.

Qualifications
- Strong financial planning expertise, including Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning skills.
- Relevant professional standards minimum QCFL4, but ideally Chartered.
- IHT Planning and cash flow modelling experience key.
- Strong experience in Retirement Planning, including pensions, SIPPs, and other retirement-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and explain complex information in accessible terms, along with ability to create internal relationships with colleagues.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory and ethical standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing individual client responsibilities.
