Financial Planner / Adviser
Our client is seeking an experienced, technically strong Financial Planner / Adviser to join a successful financial planning business with a predominantly high-value client base. Working alongside a senior adviser on complex cases, you will help develop comprehensive financial plans and gradually take on greater responsibility for client relationships and advice delivery.
Based in County Down, this is a hybrid role, offering a balance of flexible working and in-person collaboration with clients and colleagues. You will work closely with paraplanning and administrative teams to support the effective delivery of advice.

The Role
- Develop personalised financial plans covering pensions, investments, retirement, protection and wider wealth planning.
- Use cashflow modelling to explore scenarios and support client decisions.
- Attend client meetings and progressively develop responsibility for client relationships and advice delivery.
- Manage cases from fact-find through recommendation, implementation and ongoing reviews.
The Person
- Experience as a Financial Planner, Financial Adviser or Senior Paraplanner, including direct client work.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement planning and cashflow modelling.
- Experience with complex or higher-value cases.
- Certified Financial Planner qualification preferred; Chartered Financial Planners or candidates working towards either status will also be considered.

The Rewards
- Basic salary of up to £60,000, depending on experience and qualifications, plus performance-related bonus.
- Potential OTE of approximately £90,000 after two years, with scope to earn more depending on performance.
- Full-time position; hours and contract type are not specified.
