Financial Planner (Self-Employed) | PRG Financial Planners
Location: Work where you please (remote)
Status: Self-employed Appointed Representative of Quilter Financial Planning Ltd
Firm: PRG Financial Planners, a Quilter Strategic Partner
We are financial planners, not product pushers. Our clients are families, business owners, professionals, and contractors who want clear advice and a plan they can follow.
As a Quilter Strategic Partner, we give our planners the backing of a major national network while they keep control of their own client bank. You get the infrastructure. You build the book.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced financial planner who wants to go self-employed under the Quilter AR model, without starting from scratch.
You will run your own client bank, build your own income, and shape your own working week. Work from home, from a client’s kitchen table, from a coffee shop, or from our Ealing office. Your diary, your location, your call. You will also have a team around you, a support structure, and a firm that backs your growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
