Independent Financial Advisor (IFA)
Location: Warrington Area (Remote role with local client meetings)
Salary: £50,000 per annum plus bonuses
About the Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a national Independent Financial Advisory group for an experienced Independent Financial Advisor to take over a well-established client bank from a retiring adviser in the Warrington area.
This is a servicing-focused position rather than a sales role, making it ideal for an adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality financial planning without the pressure of generating new business.
The Role
- Responsible for servicing an established portfolio of existing clients, providing ongoing financial planning advice and ensuring they continue to receive an exceptional level of service.
- Supported by an experienced paraplanning and administration team, allowing you to focus on what you do best: advising clients.

Key Details and Benefits
- Basic Salary: £50,000 per annum
- Client Bank:
- An established portfolio of existing clients will be provided, approximately 130 clients with £200K recurring fee income currently being generated.
- The recurring income attached to the client bank exceeds the level required to achieve validation, meaning the successful adviser will be in a bonus position from day one.
- Performance Bonus:
- Validation at three times basic salary (£150,000)
- 25% bonus on earnings above validation, so Adviser will earn approx £12,500 in bonus before writing any new business, considering the £200K recurring fee income.
- Bonuses paid quarterly.
- Pension:
- 8% non-contributory pension.

Working Pattern
- Home-based role (field based)
- Clients located across the M6/M56/M62 corridor
- Travel required for client meetings
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Independent Financial Advisors who enjoy building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality financial advice.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as a minimum.
- Have experience providing holistic independent financial advice.
- Be confident managing an existing client bank.
- Value long-term client relationships over business development.
- Be looking for the security of an employed role with an established client bank provided.
