Self-Employed Financial Adviser
St Helens | Hybrid Working | Existing Client Bank | Financial Support Available
Are you a client-focused Financial Adviser looking for the freedom of self-employment without the challenge of starting from scratch?
We're seeking an ambitious and driven Self-Employed Financial Adviser to join an established and growing wealth division based in St Helens. This is a rare opportunity to inherit an existing and untouched client bank, providing immediate income potential from day one, while benefiting from ongoing referrals and support from a successful Mortgage and Protection team.
You'll enjoy the autonomy and earning potential of self-employment, backed by a collaborative culture, strong infrastructure, and a business that is genuinely invested in helping advisers succeed.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must live within close proximity to St Helens and be able to attend the office regularly.

The Role
As a Self-Employed Financial Adviser, you will:
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients
- Conduct regular client reviews and ongoing servicing
- Deliver holistic financial planning advice tailored to client objectives
- Build long-term relationships through exceptional client outcomes
- Develop new business opportunities through referrals and networking
- Work closely with mortgage and protection advisers to maximise cross-referral opportunities

Working Pattern
- Hybrid working model with flexibility
- Minimum of one day per week in the office to maintain collaboration and team integration
- Self-employed structure providing control over your diary and client relationships
What We're Looking For
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent)
- Current or recent Financial Adviser experience
- Comfortable operating within a self-employed model
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional, ethical and client-centric approach
- Ability to generate new business alongside servicing existing clients
- Existing client relationships
