Financial Planner – London
Competitive Salary | Discretionary Bonus | London | Hybrid
We are working with a well-established, highly regarded integrated wealth management business to recruit an experienced Financial Planner in London for their growing advice team. This is a genuinely exciting role for someone who wants to combine quality client work with real new business opportunity, backed by a strong brand and a well-resourced team.
You will take on responsibility for an existing portfolio of private clients, delivering holistic financial planning advice across the full spectrum of their needs, whilst also actively developing your own pipeline through professional connections and internal referrals from across the business. You will work closely with Investment Managers and BDM's, attending pitches and contributing to a collaborative, client-first culture where financial planning is genuinely valued.

What the role involves:
- Taking ownership of an existing private client book and delivering outstanding ongoing advice and service
- Building your own new business pipeline through professional referral relationships with accountants, solicitors, and corporate advisers
- Running and attending client events and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships
- Working collaboratively with Investment Managers and BDM's to deliver joined-up client outcomes
- Meeting FCA requirements and maintaining high standards of suitability, documentation, and client outcomes
What we are looking for:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum - Advanced Diploma or Chartered status is desirable
- A track record of advising HNW private clients and delivering regulated, holistic financial planning advice
- Strong new business instincts and the ability to build and convert a professional referral pipeline
- Experience working alongside or within a discretionary investment management environment would be a real advantage
- A polished, client-first approach with excellent communication skills and strong commercial awareness
