What you'll do

As a Financial Planner, you'll provide holistic financial advice and build lasting relationships with clients, helping them achieve their financial goals throughout every stage of life.

You'll:

  • Deliver tailored financial planning and wealth management advice to private clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive fact-finds and understand clients' financial objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial plans and suitability reports.
  • Advise across investments, pensions, retirement, protection and tax-efficient planning.
  • Build trusted, long-term client relationships through exceptional service.
  • Manage and develop your client portfolio while identifying opportunities for growth and referrals.
  • Work collaboratively with paraplanners and administrators to deliver an outstanding client experience.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory developments and industry best practice.
  • Continue your professional development with support towards Chartered Financial Planner status.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

We're looking for ambitious advisers who are passionate about delivering excellent client outcomes and developing their careers.

You'll ideally have:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent).
  • A commitment to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status.
  • Around three years' experience providing regulated financial advice within a financial planning practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection and tax-efficient financial planning.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A client-first approach with high professional and ethical standards.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365, CRM systems and financial planning software.

Experience in areas such as pensions, trusts or later life planning, or professional memberships including STEP or SOLLA, would be advantageous but are not essential.
