Financial Planner – London
Six figure basic | Transparent bonus structure | London | Fully flexible working
A genuinely attractive opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner to join a well-regarded independent financial planning business in London, taking over an established portfolio of HNW private clients and continuing to grow it within a supportive, well-resourced team.
The role has arisen through the retirement of a senior Financial Planner and a period of extended leave for another, creating an excellent opportunity for the right person to inherit a quality client book with a soft handover process in place. The clients are predominantly based across London and Kent. There is genuine flexibility around how and where you work, the business does not operate to fixed office day requirements, so you can structure your time around what works best for you and your clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
