Salary: up to £37,000 depending on experience
Location: Farnham
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
About the Opportunity
Swarm Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and rapidly growing wealth management and financial planning business to recruit a Financial Planning Administrator for its Farnham office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join an established and successful business where client service, teamwork and personal development are genuinely valued.
The Farnham office is an established part of the wider group and has a close-knit team of around 29 people. The business has grown significantly in recent years, both organically and through carefully integrated acquisitions, creating an exciting but fast-paced environment. This is not a traditional corporate environment. The business places a strong emphasis on its people, culture and values, with senior leadership actively involved in helping new employees understand and become part of the organisation.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working at pace, is highly organised and takes pride in getting things right first time. You will need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating confidently with clients and colleagues, and proactively looking for ways to keep work moving.

Working Hours
- Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm or 8:30am – 5pm
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients and servicing existing clients
- Communicating professionally with clients by telephone, email and other appropriate channels
- Preparing and maintaining client documentation and records
- Supporting the administration of pensions, ISAs, GIAs, bonds and other investment products
- Obtaining information and documentation from clients, providers and third parties
- Assisting with client servicing and ongoing financial planning administration
- Updating and maintaining accurate information within the company CRM and relevant systems
- Ensuring tasks are progressed efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Building effective working relationships with advisers, paraplanners and colleagues across the business
- Identifying issues and proactively working towards solutions rather than simply passing problems on
About You
The ideal candidate will have around two years' experience in a similar Financial Services, Financial Planning or Wealth Management administration role.

However, the business is also open to candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable skills and the right attitude. Graduates with the potential to develop a career within Wealth Management, as well as candidates who have already started or funded their own CII or RO exams, will also be considered.
What matters most is that you are someone who wants to learn, enjoys working with people and is motivated to build a long-term career within financial planning.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working within financial services, ideally in a financial planning or wealth management environment
- An understanding of pensions, investments and other wealth management products
- Experience using CRM or financial services systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement
- The confidence to work independently while also being a strong team player
- A genuine interest in developing your knowledge and career within wealth management
