Financial Planning Administrator

Glasgow | Up to £34,000

Our client is a well-established independent financial services business looking for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their close-knit team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous IFA or financial services administration experience who is looking for a stable role within a friendly and supportive business.

The Role

You’ll be supporting the Financial Advisers with the smooth running of their client portfolios and handling the day-to-day administration across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administration support to Financial Advisers
  • Preparing client paperwork, reports and documentation
  • Processing new business and financial applications
  • Liaising with clients, providers and third parties
  • Managing client correspondence and following up outstanding information
  • Updating and maintaining accurate client records
  • Supporting with reviews and ongoing client servicing
  • Processing and monitoring cases from initial submission through to completion
  • Assisting with general office administration and supporting the wider team

  • Previous experience within financial services / financial planning administration
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Someone who can work independently and manage their own workload
  • A professional and confident approach when dealing with clients and providers
  • Experience with IO, Tellflow, Aegon, Transact or Cofunds would be advantageous
