Location: Wolverhampton

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Core hours of 9:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Salary: Starting at £30,000 Benefits: 24 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 with service, Pension, Private Health Insurance

PIA is a well-established independent financial advice firm providing tailored financial planning solutions to individuals and businesses. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships with our clients.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised, professional, and proactive Financial Planning Administrator to join our busy office-based team in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial services professional to play a key role in supporting both our clients and advisers while further developing their career within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with new and existing clients, handling queries and service requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-meeting and new business research to support financial planning activities.
  • Prepare client reports, illustrations, and documentation for meetings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the organisation and preparation of client review meetings.
  • Submit and process applications relating to life assurance, pensions, investments, and other financial products.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure all files are compliant with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the firm's compliance processes and administrative procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with product providers, insurance companies, platforms, and other third parties.
  • Manage adviser diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Monitor ongoing business cases and provide regular updates to clients and advisers.
  • Assist with the day-to-day administration of the business as required.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicating with clients, providers, and colleagues.
  • Able to work independently using their own initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experienced within the financial services industry.
  • Familiar with financial planning administration processes and client servicing.
  • Experienced in using the Intelliflo back-office system (highly desirable).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
