About The Role
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager leads complex planning and reporting activities across the Group or Business Unit, ensuring financial integrity, governance, and insight. The role supports strategic decision-making, drives performance improvement, and enables transformation through accurate forecasting, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the delivery of key financial planning processes, including monthly forecasts, outlooks and the Medium-Term Plan (MTP).
- Coordinate and manage the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Own the annual MTP cycle, engaging stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality plans within agreed timelines.
- Develop and maintain commercial and strategic P&L forecasts, providing insight into financial performance and future opportunities.
- Prepare and present meaningful financial analysis and reporting packs for leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
- Manage forecast updates and ensure accurate population of financial planning tools, including Value Driver Tree (VDT).
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to Commercial and Operations teams, helping to drive performance and business growth.
- Lead and support finance improvement projects, identifying opportunities to simplify processes and enhance governance.
- Partner with Finance Leads, the UK Business Centre and GFSS teams to ensure alignment across planning and reporting activities.
- Deliver ongoing cost analysis and performance insight, identifying opportunities for efficiency and value creation.

Essential Skills / Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong financial modelling, spreadsheet and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment and influence colleagues across multiple business functions.
