Financial Planning & Analysis

North Manchester | Hybrid
Up to £60,000 + benefits

Forge Talent is partnering with a high-growth, multi-site organisation to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis into its central finance function. This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded FP&A professional looking to take genuine ownership of financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis and strategic insight across a growing UK business.

Reporting into the Senior FP&A Manager and working closely with the Head of FP&A, you'll act as a trusted financial adviser to senior leadership, helping turn complex financial and operational data into clear insight, challenge and recommendations that support better business decisions.

The role offers genuine scope to improve how the business plans, forecasts and reports, with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to drive greater automation, reporting quality and commercial accountability across the organisation.

The Role

You'll take a leading role across the UK FP&A cycle, owning key elements of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance reporting and commercial analysis.

The focus is not simply on producing the numbers. You'll be expected to understand the key drivers behind performance, identify risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.

You'll work closely with Finance, Business Intelligence and operational leadership to improve the quality and efficiency of planning, reporting and decision-making across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
