Gresham Hunt are working with a market-leading UK provider of technology solutions to investment firms, who are backed by a Tier 1 private equity investor and pursuing an ambitious growth strategy.

They're looking for an FP&A Analyst to join a small, high-impact finance team reporting into the Head of FP&A. This is a broad, commercially exposed role where you'll be involved in performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cost analysis, and finance improvement projects, with real visibility to senior management and the PE investor.

The role:

  • Preparing performance reporting and analysis for senior management and the PE investor
  • Supporting the full budgeting and forecasting cycle, from data-gathering through to Board-level materials
  • Building a detailed understanding of fixed operating expenses and variable costs, identifying cost-saving initiatives
  • Supporting finance and BI system development, and improving data quality/consistency
  • Business partnering with budget holders and department heads across the business
  • Getting involved in wider projects beyond the typical FP&A remit

  • ACA or CIMA qualified, 0–2 years PQE
  • Genuinely curious about how the business works, not just reporting on it
  • Comfortable operating without a fixed playbook, in a fast-changing environment
  • A proactive, hands-on "doer" — happy in the detail and supporting beyond your immediate remit
  • Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience a plus
  • A confident communicator, able to present to non-finance and senior stakeholders
  • Motivated by the pace and scrutiny that comes with private equity ownership
