FP&A Manager
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
The Opportunity
We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation based in Central London to recruit an FP&A Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and analytically driven finance professional to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic decision making across the organisation.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing robust financial modelling to support business planning and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
- Produce accurate monthly management reports and financial performance packs.
- Deliver detailed variance analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with budget holders and senior leaders to provide commercial financial insight and challenge.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, making recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and executive leadership.
- Support business planning through scenario modelling and financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, systems and processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information used across the organisation.
- Support the wider finance team with year-end activities, audit requirements and ad hoc financial projects.

About You
You will be a qualified finance professional with strong analytical skills and experience within Financial Planning & Analysis or commercial finance. You will be confident building relationships across the business and presenting financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Previous experience within an FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering role.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience producing management reports and variance analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirable
- Experience using financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or similar.
- Experience using Power BI or other reporting tools.
- Experience working within the not-for-profit, membership, education or public sector.
