FP&A Manager - 6-9 Month Contract

We are working with a world-leading Financial Services group, looking to welcome a FP&A Manager into their London team for a 6-9 month contract.

In the role, you’ll be responsible for the reporting and consolidation (using HFM) of various trading entities around the world, ensuring high-quality and timely financial information. You'll work closely with the wider finance group as well as commercial teams - it's a key role within an exciting and growing part of the business.

Your Role

  • Preparation of monthly performance reports including P&L and balance sheet figures
  • Review and analysis of regional figures, challenging the Controllers
  • Run the consolidation process using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and sending the results to Group Finance
  • Assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Proving analysis on the trading positions for the commercial teams
  • Act as the HFM Super-User producing any reports as required
  • Ensuring a strong control environment is maintained
  • Actively taking part in projects bringing improvement to the reporting processes

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with strong management reporting and financial analysis experience
  • Strong HFM skills - this is critical for this role
  • Industry experience in Financial Services is desirable but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and commercial teams
  • Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
