Build & Shape the FP&A Function

London

4 days in the office a week initially, moving to 3.

Are you an experienced FP&A professional looking for the opportunity to build something rather than simply maintain what already exists?

We are working with a rapidly growing, multi-site business that is looking to appoint an FP&A Manager to build and shape its Financial Planning & Analysis capability.

This is a genuine greenfield opportunity. You will take ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process, develop new driver-based financial models and help improve the way financial and operational performance is understood across the business.

The role

  • Build and own the annual budgeting process
  • Develop and improve driver-based financial models
  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting, including 6+6 and 9+3 forecasts
  • Develop volume and price-based forecasting models
  • Deliver commercial and financial analysis to support business performance
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to gather assumptions and understand key performance drivers
  • Work closely with the Senior Analytics Engineer to improve financial and operational reporting
  • Present budgets, forecasts and insights to senior leadership
  • Support the development of balance sheet and cashflow forecasting
  • Help determine whether the business should continue developing its models in Excel or implement a dedicated budgeting system
  • Support a growing and acquisitive organisation, including the integration of new acquisitions
  • Drive improvements across FP&A, reporting and business intelligence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
