Interim FP&A Manager
Location: London Head Office
Working pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week in office (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
We’re partnering with a high-growth UK consumer business to find an experienced FP&A Manager to join its finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who wants to do more than report on performance. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Marketing and Operations, helping shape decisions that directly influence the performance and growth of the UK business.
You’ll partner with the Head of FP&A across budgeting, forecasting, trading performance and strategic investment whilst turning financial insight into clear recommendations and action.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the key Finance Business Partner to senior Commercial, Marketing and Operations stakeholders.
- Own key elements of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles.
- Lead monthly trading and performance reporting, including insight, commentary and presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
- Build financial models, scenarios and business cases to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Partner on investment appraisals and strategic initiatives across the UK business.
- Manage and develop an FP&A Analyst.
- Drive improvements across FP&A processes, reporting and planning tools.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and scale financial planning and reporting.

What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- 3+ years’ post-qualified experience.
- Strong background in FP&A and/or commercial finance.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Confidence influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
- Experience developing business cases, investment appraisals and scenario analysis.
- A proactive, commercially curious and solutions-focused mindset.
- A strong process improvement and automation mindset.

Experience with Planful, ERP systems, Operations or Logistics environments would be advantageous, as would previous people management experience.
