Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Global Energy Services | Growth | Transformation
Aberdeen | Hybrid
£100,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We Do Group are partnering exclusively with an international energy and industrial-services business to recruit a newly created Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
This is an opportunity to join a global organisation at an exciting stage of growth and help shape the next phase of its FP&A function.
The business operates across multiple international markets, with major operations in the UK, Americas, Australia, and the Middle East. It has ambitious organic growth plans and supports customers across traditional energy, LNG, industrial facilities, infrastructure, and data centres.
This is not a steady-state or purely reporting-focused FP&A role.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will initially focus on strengthening the foundations of global FP&A. This will include improving master data, standardising management reporting, and creating better alignment between FP&A, global accounting, regional finance teams, and Shared Services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
