About pubX

Programmatic advertising is stuck. Advertisers and publishers operate through a complex supply chain of intermediaries, fragmented platforms and manual processes. The result is unnecessary cost, limited transparency and lost value on both sides.

pubX is building a new model: an agentic advertising marketplace where AI-powered buying and selling agents transact directly on behalf of advertisers and publishers. A campaign brief goes in, relevant publisher inventory is queried and scored, and matched opportunities can be approved and activated directly, without the traditional layers of DSPs and SSPs.

Our advantage is the infrastructure beneath the agents. Over five years, we’ve built direct integrations and trusted relationships with publishers around the world, creating access to high-quality supply that is difficult to replicate. We’ve already priced more than one trillion programmatic auctions, rank fifth globally in the Prebid Analytics Adapter Rankings, and are a founding member of AgenticAdvertising.org, helping shape the standards for this next era of advertising.

Why This Role Exists

As we scale, we need an experienced finance professional who can turn data into clarity, insight, and action. This role exists to build the analytical backbone that supports decision-making, strengthens forecasting accuracy, and ensures leaders understand the financial impact of every move we make. You’ll sit at the centre of planning, reporting, and commercial analysis, helping the business grow with confidence, discipline, and pace.

What You'll Work On

Planning & Forecasting

  • Build and maintain financial models for revenue, costs, cash flow, and scenario planning.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting cycles.
  • Partner with department leads to understand drivers, risks, and opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
