Ready to lead an exciting change journey and reshape how finance supports YH?

You’ll lead our Finance Business Partnering team at an exciting time as we reset the service we provide through the introduction of a new finance system. You’ll build brilliant relationships, champion self-service and enable the team to spend more time delivering the commercial insight our leaders need.

We’re looking for a forward-thinking, inspiring leader who can communicate with clarity, bring people with them and turn innovation into smarter ways of working. With plenty of talent to unlock and exciting times ahead, this is your chance to create a finance service that makes a real difference across YH.

We believe work is something you do, not somewhere you go so if you want to work for a company who are truly flexible and where you are valued then this could be the role for you!

What we’re all about

You might think of Yorkshire Housing as ‘just’ a housing provider, but we’re so much more than that. Yes, we own and manage nearly 20,000 homes (and counting) across Yorkshire and make it possible for current and future customers to have a place they’re proud to call home, but we’re also all about making a positive difference in people’s lives.

We’ve got big plans to overhaul the traditional customer service offer, build new homes that are truly future-proof and empower our people through flexibility and freedom to do their best work.

Our investment in technology is a key pillar of our strategy and our change team are working on exciting, complex and ambitious programmes to deliver a pre-emptive customer experience – who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?

By shaping our business plan, strengthening financial resilience and giving leaders clear commercial insight, you’ll help YH make confident investment decisions and deliver more for our customers and communities.

  • Alongside this, you'll help evolve our approach to financial reporting, modelling and decision support, enabling the team to focus on delivering greater commercial value and forward-looking insight.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
