An exciting role has become available within our International Markets function for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. Within this role you will be responsible for the consolidated planning and reporting of the International Markets P&L, partnering with all markets to understand the performance of our business. You will deliver high quality, accurate and insightful financial reporting of IM’s short-term results and longer terms plans, through your analysis and understanding of the ongoing business risks and opportunities. You will be relied upon to provide insightful analysis/data collation to drive the analytical agenda and coach and develop finance community to improve period reporting, forecasting analysis and insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the timely preparation, reporting and analysis of the IM P&L, B/S and Working Capital (Month end close, quarterly forecasts and budget) to Two Group
  • Completion of IM Consolidated causals and reviewing submissions of the 6 legal entities making up IM
  • Collaborate with local finance teams to understand the commercial drivers of performance
  • Accountable for the communication of period results to the Head of Finance and Finance Director, providing insight into the key commercial drivers of performance, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Accountable for the communication of period results, sharing key drivers of performance to IM, includes sharing the business performance to the IM team in an engaging and impactful way at the monthly Period Updates
  • Accountable for the quarterly forecasting and budgeting process to meet TwO Group reporting requirements and timelines.
  • Responsible for setting and controlling the planning timetable for IM (including Budget, quarterly forecasting)
  • Support IM in preparation of forecasts, i.e. training matter and guidance materials

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • A Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with at least 3 years of experience working in industry or practice (ideally with significant FMCG experience), prior experience in international markets desirable.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • SAP ECC experience required, with a track record of an enquiring mind; improving processes, systems and ways of working.
  • You will demonstrate technical ability both in finance and IT (Excel and MIS systems)
  • You will be analytical - able to see the big picture, but equally the ability to be thorough and give sufficient attention to detail
  • You will be self-propelled with the ability to take initiative and ownership
  • You will be a culturally aware with the ability to build successful relationships both with immediate stakeholders but also cross culturally
