The Opportunity

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, data-led professional services organisation in the search for an ambitious FP&A Manager. Following a period of sustained growth and increasing business complexity, the company is investing heavily in its finance function and is looking to hire a commercially focused finance professional to support strategic decision-making across the business.

Working closely with senior leadership, this newly created role will sit at the heart of the finance team, driving budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis, and business performance reporting. The successful candidate will have significant exposure to strategic projects, including M&A activity, investment decisions, and business transformation initiatives.

The Role

  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the business.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models covering revenue, profitability, cash flow, headcount, and strategic investments.
  • Deliver scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and commercial insight to support key business decisions.
  • Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide actionable financial guidance and performance analysis.
  • Prepare board-level reporting, executive presentations, and management information packs.
  • Support strategic projects including acquisitions, new business initiatives, investment appraisals, and growth opportunities.
  • Drive process improvements, reporting automation, and finance systems enhancements.
  • Leverage BI and analytical tools to improve insight, reporting quality, and decision-making capability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
