What you will do

As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A), you will lead the Bank’s cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities, partnering closely with Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful financial analysis. Using data to identify key business drivers, you will support and challenge stakeholders to make informed strategic decisions.

  • Act as the cost “lead” on month end reporting, long term financial and strategic planning, budgeting, often at the same time

  • This will require process efficiency as well as effectiveness including through implementation of new system solutions

  • Provide timely, insightful and commercially focused financial commentary, identifying risks and issues and working with stakeholders to develop effective solutions

  • Input into board and Exco papers, investor packs and similar; driving business strategy and influencing at multiple levels

  • Build strong partnerships with budget owners, Procurement, the Business Intelligence Reporting team and wider Finance colleagues to deliver accurate financial insight and support business objectives

What you will need

  • Demonstratable experience of FP&A, decision support and/or business partnering

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, for analysing data and preparing reporting pack

  • Excellent understanding of managing complex processes with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, develop recommendations and drive solutions proactively and autonomously

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving
