Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Salary: £65,000 per annum
Location: Flexible - within commutable distance to Wareham
Hours: 37 hours per week
We’re looking for a FP&A Manager to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Group’s long-term financial plan. The role is responsible for producing high quality financial analysis and insights that enable effective decision making across the organisation.
Working closely with the Head of FP&A and Investor Relations, the FP&A Manager leads the preparation and maintenance of the Group’s long-term financial plan and scenario modelling. The role ensures that robust financial information is available to support strategic initiatives, treasury activities, investment decisions and regulatory requirements.
The FP&A Manager acts as a trusted business partner to finance and operational stakeholders, driving financial discipline, improving reporting capabilities and supporting continuous improvement within the FP&A function.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and maintaining the Group’s annual financial plan and subsequent updates, ensuring outputs are accurate, robust and delivered to agreed timescales.
- Coordinating the collection, review and consolidation of financial planning information from across the Group.
- Supporting the production of presentations and reports for Executive Team, Board and Committee meetings.
- Preparing of the annual Financial Forecast Return (FFR) and other regulatory submissions, ensuring consistency with the approved business plan.
- Developing and maintaining financial models, supporting strategic planning, investment appraisal, funding requirements and business cases.
- Producing detailed scenario analysis, stress testing and mitigation assessments to support strategic decision making and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and analysing relevant Group KPIs, identifying risks, opportunities and emerging trends.
- Supporting the production of business plan outputs required for credit rating submissions and lender reporting.
- Overseeing the production and development of the Group’s monthly cash flow forecast.
- Maintaining and developing financial plannings models used to analyse covenant compliance, financial capacity and development programme sustainability.
- Supporting interest budget and forecasting processes through analysis of financial planning outputs and funding assumptions.
- Producing reports and analysis form Treasury and Finance Committee meetings and other governance forums.
- Supporting the Head of FP&A and Investor Relations in producing content for investors.
- Any other support as required to the Head of FP&A and Investor Relations or Director of Treasury.
- Leading on ad hoc financial analysis and modelling projects in support of corporate objectives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting automation and data accessibility through existing and emerging finance technologies.
- Ensuring high standards of data integrity, governance and auditability across all planning and forecasting processes.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the wider organisation to improve financial understanding and decision making.

About you
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in long term financial planning and scenario modelling. You will have:
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including consolidation and statutory accounts.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and/or financial planning processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear actionable insight for senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence to influence senior leaders and build effective relationships.
- A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to lead change and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid role enabling you to work from home. The team do come together in the Wareham office twice per month, so being able and happy to travel for this is a must.
