FP&A Manager

High-Growth PE-Backed SaaS Business | Hybrid Working

Our client is a rapidly expanding Private Equity-backed SaaS business with an outstanding culture, ambitious growth plans, and a market-leading product offering. As the business continues its impressive expansion journey, they are seeking an exceptional FP&A Manager / Senior Finance Business Partner to become the driving force behind financial planning, commercial insight, and strategic decision support.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the forward-looking finance agenda and work closely with senior leadership, board members, lenders, and investors in a business that is actively investing in growth, innovation, and M&A.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional FP&A role.

You will be the financial storyteller for the business, transforming complex data into meaningful commercial insight, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring the organisation remains on track to deliver its ambitious growth objectives.

From leading long-range planning and investor reporting to supporting acquisitions and evaluating major investment opportunities, you'll have a significant impact across every area of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Financial Modelling

  • Own and develop the group's long-term financial model, incorporating revenue, ARR, operational expenditure, cashflow, investment plans and M&A activity.
  • Lead the annual budget, long-range planning and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Deliver sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, investment opportunities and growth initiatives through robust commercial analysis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
