FP&A Manager | £75,000 – £85,000 + Bonus & Equity | London (Hybrid)

Baker Charles is partnering with a fast-growing, international VC-backed biotech business to recruit an FP&A Manager.

This is a broad, high-impact role reporting to the Finance Director, with regular exposure to the CFO and senior leadership team. It would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail of the numbers but, crucially, can step back and understand what they mean for the business.

You will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling across a multi-entity, multi-product organisation, while acting as a commercial finance partner to teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning and developing the group’s forecasting, budgeting and scenario-planning models
  • Running the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycle across the business
  • Providing analysis and insight across P&L, cash, margins and key business drivers
  • Building scenario models and investment cases to support strategic decisions
  • Partnering with Commercial and Sales teams, including modelling the economics of new customer deals
  • Producing financial and KPI reporting for senior leadership and Board meetings
  • Challenging assumptions and helping stakeholders understand the financial implications of their decisions
  • Supporting the continued development of FP&A systems, processes and ways of working

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The successful candidate will be commercially curious, comfortable working with ambiguity and capable of operating in a fast-moving environment. You will need to care about the detail while being able to join the dots and communicate the bigger picture clearly to senior stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to take genuine ownership of FP&A within an ambitious, growing business and work closely with an experienced Finance Director and CFO.
