Wealth Planning Assistant – Entry Level

Saffron Walden | £25,000 | Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH

Are you a graduate looking to start a long-term career in wealth management and financial planning?

We are recruiting an Entry-Level Wealth Planning Assistant to join a growing financial planning business based near Saffron Walden. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team where you’ll receive structured training, funded professional qualifications and the opportunity to build a genuine career within wealth planning.

The opportunity:

Working as part of a close-knit team of around 8–10 people, you’ll support experienced wealth planning professionals and gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day management of client relationships and financial planning activities.

This is a role created through continued business growth and is ideally suited to someone at the beginning of their career who wants to learn, develop and progress within financial planning.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the wealth planning team with day-to-day client and administrative activities
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate client information and documentation
  • Assisting with financial planning processes and client servicing
  • Managing multiple tasks and priorities to ensure deadlines are met
  • Working with financial information where accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • Developing your knowledge of wealth management, financial planning and the wider financial services industry

What we’re looking for:

You’ll ideally have:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent academic background
  • A genuine interest in building a career in wealth planning / financial planning
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • A professional, personable and collaborative approach
  • A willingness to learn and develop

No previous wealth management experience is required.

This opportunity is specifically for someone interested in developing a career within financial planning and wealth management, rather than pursuing an investment analyst or investment research career.
