Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Financial Planning Assistant / Paraplanner role based in Knowle. The role involves supporting Chartered Financial Planners by preparing financial planning reports, performing detailed research and analysis on pensions, investments, and wealth strategies, and assisting with the construction of client recommendations. - Gathering and validating client data
- Updating records
- Liaising with providers
- Ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant
- Helping produce suitability letters
- Reviewing existing financial arrangements
- Maintaining high standards of client service and confidentiality

The role also includes administrative support to the advisory team and contributing to the ongoing refinement of internal processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Financial Planning skills, including understanding of pensions, investments, tax-efficient strategies, and wealth management.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial information, assess risk, and support evidence-based investment decisions.
- Knowledge of Investments and Finance, including financial products, platforms, and regulations within an IFA or advisory environment.
- Clear, structured Report Writing abilities to produce accurate, client-focused suitability reports and supporting documentation.
- Relevant professional qualifications or progress toward them (e.g., Diploma in Financial Planning, Level 4 RQF, or equivalent) are highly desirable. We will fund examination progression.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and proficiency with financial planning software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client service and working collaboratively in a professional team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain confidentiality in a regulated environment.
