About the Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planning Manager to join a well-established and growing independent Wealth Management business.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership and people-development position, rather than an individual Financial Adviser role. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading, supporting and developing a sizeable team of Financial Planners, with a strong focus on adviser performance, advice quality, client outcomes and commercial success. Working closely with the Managing Director, Compliance, Operations and wider Executive Team, you will play an influential role in the continued development of the Financial Planning function and help create a high-performance culture across the adviser team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, coach and develop the Financial Planning team
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations for Financial Planners
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and development discussions
  • Monitor adviser performance against agreed KPIs and business objectives
  • Support Financial Planners with complex client scenarios and technical planning matters
  • Drive consistently high standards of holistic financial planning and client outcomes
  • Work closely with Compliance to identify trends, risks and opportunities arising from file reviews and management information
  • Support the delivery of Consumer Duty requirements across the advice process
  • Drive improvements in adviser productivity, efficiency and client servicing
  • Support the achievement of team revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop strong adviser pipelines and encourage cross-referral opportunities
  • Support the successful integration of acquired businesses and adviser teams
  • Contribute to proposition development, strategic projects and wider business improvement initiatives
  • Produce and analyse management information relating to adviser and team performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
