Company Description

Fore Financial Planning is a financial advisory business based in the North West of England, providing holistic planning solutions to clients nationwide. From our modern offices in Birkdale Village, we support clients working across a wide range of industries. Our reputation for honest, trusted advice to the oil and gas sector has seen us grow rapidly in this particular area, providing specialist support to offshore workers up and down the UK. Using modern cashflow modelling, forecasting, and “what if” scenarios, we help clients to understand their financial future and make informed decisions through our ongoing advice service across retirement, investment, protection, corporate pensions, and inheritance tax, with a strong focus on long-term client outcomes.

Role Description

We recognise that not everyone wants to become a financial adviser. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, client service, problem-solving and being an integral part of a successful financial planning business. The Financial Planning Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Southport, providing operational and analytical support to financial planners and advisors.   • Preparing client reports
  • Assisting with cashflow models
  • Gathering and verifying client data and documentation
  • Submission of new business cases
  • Coordinating meeting packs
  • Updating internal systems and client records
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies

The specialist will liaise with clients and providers to resolve queries, track progress on recommendations, and help ensure timely completion of advice-related tasks. This position supports a high-quality client experience by maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and clear communication across all activities.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload effectively, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of UK financial services, pensions, investments, and regulatory requirements
  • As an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management plc, the ideal candidate should have experience of SJP systems, including Salesforce.
