Financial Regulation Lawyer

Location: London

Salary: Market leading, dependent on experience

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Benefits: Market leading package


We are currently working with a number of leading international, US and Magic Circle/Silver Circle law firms seeking Financial Regulation lawyers across a range of seniority levels, from junior associates through to Partner.

These opportunities offer the chance to advise major financial institutions and sophisticated clients on complex regulatory matters within highly regarded practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising banks, financial institutions, funds, investment firms and other regulated businesses on financial services regulation.
  • Advising on FCA and PRA regulatory requirements, permissions, governance and compliance matters.
  • Supporting clients on regulatory issues arising from transactions, new products and business activities.
  • Advising on regulatory investigations, enforcement, conduct and related matters where appropriate.
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development and the growth of the practice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1+ PQE through to Partner level, with strong Financial Regulation experience.
  • Experience gained at an elite US, Magic Circle, Silver Circle or similarly highly regarded international firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK financial services regulation.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to advise sophisticated financial services clients on complex regulatory issues.
