Financial Reporting Accountant
Stevenage
£50,000-£60,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join an organisation in the Scientific space. This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to financial reporting, audit, controls, budgeting, and business partnering.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate reporting, supporting year-end processes, and helping drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reporting.
- Supporting external audits and managing audit schedules.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
- Assisting with monthly management reporting and analysis.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
- VAT and compliance-related reporting.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or nearing qualification.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end processes.
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
- Proactive, organised and detail-oriented.
- Confident communicating with stakeholders across a business.
